Andersen in Jordan (registered under legal name “Andersen for Legal and Tax Consultancy LLC”, previously registered under the name “Zalloum & Laswi Law Firm”) was initially established as a law office in Jordan in 1993 by Managing Partner Azzam Zalloum and later became a full-fledged law firm, welcoming additional Partners and Associates to its team. Since then, Andersen in Jordan has experienced significant growth locally and internationally by maintaining a comprehensive understanding of local Jordanian laws and regulations, as well as providing local and multinational clients with quality legal services compatible with today’s economic challenges. In 2019, the firm became a member firm of Andersen Global, which has a global presence through its member firms and collaborating firms. We pride ourselves on our team’s ability to provide in-depth knowledge and a wide range of legal and tax services, including commercial litigation and transactions, foreign investment, intellectual property rights, rule of law and regulatory reform projects, tax, and wealth planning. Our insight on the Jordanian judicial system grows each year, with the addition of new staff and specialized training that enables us to cater to the needs of our clients. Our clients choose to work with us because of our vast experience in commercial litigation and transactions. The litigation team is headed by Azzam Zalloum, who brings almost 30 years of experience as a litigator in Jordan and has developed a reputation as an exceptional commercial litigator. The transactional team is headed by Rasha Laswi, who has been legal advisor to several of the largest multinational companies in Jordan and participated in the IPO of a pharmaceutical company on the London Stock Exchange. The experience that these partners bring is matched by the energy that they and their associates deliver to each case or transaction.
