Lead complex engagements for Jordanian and international clients, including: Tax Structuring: Optimizing liabilities under Jordanian Income Tax Law, VAT regulations, and international treaties. Financial Advisory: Supporting mergers, IPOs, and foreign investment into Jordan (e.g., Aqaba SEZ incentives). Transfer Pricing: Designing compliant policies for multinationals operating in Jordan, addressing Jordan Tax Department scrutiny. Resolve tax disputes and audits with Jordanian authorities, leveraging deep knowledge of local appeal processes. Ensure client-wide adherence to: Jordanian VAT Law (No. 16 of 2019) and Income Tax Law (No. 34 of 2014). OECD transfer pricing guidelines and Jordan’s local file requirements. IFRS compliance for corporate accounting and financial reporting. Monitor regulatory shifts (e.g., implementation, e-invoicing mandates) and adapt client strategies proactively. Oversee quality control across all services, implementing standardized workflows for tax filings, financial statements, and TP documentation. Integrate Jordan-specific tax tech (e.g., e-filing systems, Tax portals) to streamline compliance. Manage risk and ethics, ensuring client confidentiality compliance per Jordanian law. Build a high-performance team by recruiting top Jordanian talent and fostering expertise in local and international tax/accounting.
